MayDay Community Space 176 St Nicholas Ave, Brooklyn Free - Donations accepted Are you #latinx #sudamericanx #latinoamericanx#originarypeopleoftheamericas #pueblooriginario #inmigrante#lafronteratecruzóati #caribeñx #POC #brown #black #minority or any other #exotic breed?
Do you feel pressure to reference your race/ethnicity in your work to be recognized as a (fill the blank) artist? Do you see a huge discrepancy in how you understand your ethnicity/race/heritage and how gatekeepers/decision makers see it? Join us for an evening of playing with these concepts and imagining working alternatives among understanding peers. |
