Improvisation: Lightening Scores.

How can we explore the deep connectedness that happens when people work together in improvisation? Is it like the organs and the muscles, and the bones working together making a body- making a human? What happens when we work together and a special connection is formed with a different level of awareness and consciousness? How do the people in the room, the space itself, and the energy that we are breathing and feeling teach us how to move?

LJ Leach founded LJ Leach / Movement Arts in 2011 and has shown work throughout  New York and New Jersey. She was a Chez Bushwick resident artist in 2013, and is an associate artist at New York Live arts. Moreover she is Dr. Martha Eddy’s assistant and does administrative work for  Moving For Life dance exercise for cancer recovery. She is studying Dynamic Embodiment ™ Somatic Movement Therapy and BodyMind Dancing ™  under the mentorship of Dr. Martha Eddy.
