We will venture different movement in high, middle, low levels, and try out different quality of the body from different style of dance, eventually leading to improvising with one another using languages that we explored to communicate with each other.

About Shannon
Shannon Yu is a Taiwan born, New York based interdisciplinary artist. Yu holds a B Eng. in Civil Engineering from National Taiwan University, and a MFA Performance and Performance Studies from Pratt Institute. With training in martial arts, contemporary floorwork, hip hop, and breaking, Yu is able to integrate intellectual and physical knowledge to create cultivating visuals. ​

This series is geared towards the professional development of dance teachers and as a means to offer affordable dance classes to a wide community of dance lovers and movers.
