Queer Argentine Ecocenric Folkloric Dance
|
About Nicolas |
Nicholas is a dancer and instructor of Argentine folkloric dance in NYC, as well as a researcher of environmental studies, in particular the socio-environmental impacts of resource extraction in South America.
In dance and in academics he combines folkloric, environmental, and queer studies and he's currently teaching classes in Argentine folkloric dance from a queer and ecocentric perspective. On a broader level, he´s also working to find ways we can use dance to bring nature into urban space, to promote cultural diversity, and to create harmony with ourselves, our communities, and our environments. |
