About Marianna |
Originally from Russia, Marianna Koytsan began her dance studies in Ballet at the age of 4 and continued to perform with various folk dance companies until the age of 10.
In 2012, MariAnna moved to New York City to continue her pursuit of dance, enrolling in The Ballet Arts Academy with a focus on Ballet, Contemporary and Capoeira. Marianna was training under Mestre Lampreia Matubaxe. Marianna got her certificate from Ballet Arts in 2018. Marianna is a member of Crazy-Natives, a House/freestyle dance crew based out of New York City. The group's mission is to push the limits of various movement styles that exist in street dance, while keeping the NYC club authentic. This approach extends not only to street dance events but also to the concert dance stage. |

This series is geared towards the professional development of dance teachers and as a means to offer affordable dance classes to a wide community of dance lovers and movers.
