About Keryn |
Keryn A. Lundgren is an NYC-based Pilates movement educator and dancer. A graduate of CUNY Hunter’s Arnhold Dance Education program, Keryn is interested in dance and its potential as a force for cultural disruption, personal transformation, and communal expression. As a budding researcher and dance advocate, Keryn is committed to the greater representation of Afro-Latin dance forms within professional college dance programs, and plans to continue her studies in the performance and representation of gender, race, and cultural aesthetics in the practice of mind/body movement arts and Afro-Latin dances such as NY Mambo, ChaChaCha, and Bachata. When Keryn is not staying out too late dancing, she is busy teaching Pilates to adults, and dance to children and adolescents.
