About emily |
Emily Smith received her BFA from Alfred University. She co-founded The Six And Four Articulations Contemporary Touring Dance Company. She was a member of Layla Mrozowski’s “BAAD” Bicycle Awesome Adventure Dance Tour and performed in works by Steve Paxton At The Moma and in Ryan Mcnamara’s Meǝm: in Performa. She is the Artistic Director of “Not For Retale”, creating kinetic sculptures and performances. She and Elena Rose Light co-produce cnd curate Fete. She is a former member of the Dance Company Leimay at "The Cave" in Williamsburg. She is currently working as a metal fabricator at Arcana Metal, and as sharing Dance With Zack Fuller.
