Join us for two sessions full of embodiment, dialogue, and improvisation to explore how to build emotional resilience through our senses and our sensations.

​The Sense:Mueve practice aims to explore the sensorial contact between oneself and its environment. Coming to an understanding of our interconnectedness with every living being in the universe in order to enact ‘new realities’ that lead to discovering new ways of action and perception. Our aims are to use these tools to evolve into a post-anthropocentric era.

Everyone is welcomed. Through Sense:Mueve, we cultivate empowerment and sense of ownership through sharing how everyone is a dancer regardless of their background or identity.

About Ana
Ana María López is a Dominican dancer, visual artist, and activist currently based in New York. Her creative practice reflects how to unlearn modes of action and perception through creative forms of healing.

This series is geared towards the professional development of dance teachers and as a means to offer affordable dance classes to a wide community of dance lovers and movers.
